Bahrns Equipment, Inc., founded in 1966, is a family-owned business specializing in lawn and garden equipment, material handling, and industrial supplies. Known for quality and service, Bahrns operates several websites, including Bahrns.com for equipment and services, ForkliftAccessories.com for forklift parts and accessories, Local.Bahrns.com for Kubota tractors and lawn equipment, and BahrnsToyotaLift.com for their regional ToyotaLift dealership in Illinois. With decades of experience, Bahrns continues to provide top-quality products and reliable service to its customers.

Problem Statement

The Bahrns website management team reached out to us because they wanted to find a simple and scalable method of managing their products on multiple channels. The team wanted their website products to show up on Ebay and other online marketplaces. The website management team also had issues with RFP forms not working on some of their websites. The team also wanted to fix some UI bugs and enhance some of their SEO fields.The team also requested general maintenance work to be done on their websites.

What did Sitescribes do

  • We first started by researching all the available API solutions to integrate the website product feed to Ebay and other online marketplaces. We ended up deciding on using Channable and our team managed the integration, configuration, installation, and testing of the connection with the marketplace.
  • We investigated all the form sources and identified the issues with the forms. We then fixed all the forms and escalated some of the platform based issues to the platform team.
  • Our team conducted ongoing maintenance work on the different websites and identified oppourtunities for UI/UX improvement. Our team also identified bugs within the websites such as pages not rendering, missing error pages, and website componenets not resizing appropriately.
  • Our team reconfigured products in the appropiate categories and resolved issues where some products were not showing up on the live sites.

  • We successfully ported all of the website products onto multiple online marketplaces
  • We ensured a seamless customer experience on all the forms within the Bahrns websites
  • New products and categories were enabled and constantly updated in a timely manner
